There sure is! @cvx is actively working on it, and there is already a site setting “experimental glimmer topic list groups” if you’d like to try it out.
However we haven’t started exploring the customizability aspect of this yet, so please do not try to build any themes/plugins against it. We hope to work on that in the next few weeks.
