A user, gormus, encountered an “Upload Fails” error when using a form template with an upload field. The error occurred despite the file extension being authorized. JammyDodger suggested that the issue might be browser/device-specific, but gormus reported testing on a desktop browser. JammyDodger found a potential fix in a GitHub pull request (https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/23935), which was later confirmed to resolve the issue by gormus and SaraDev.
However, gormus discovered another bug where the allow_multiple: true option is not respected. renato acknowledged the issue and mentioned that it’s related to the enable_direct_s3_uploads site setting. renato later announced that the allow_multiple uploads issue, as well as another issue regarding file_types validation, have been fixed.
