Use X-Forwarded or not?

Hi,

Our Discourse is setup behind a firewall and all the traffic to nginx is coming from single IP address which is causing errors (429 Too Many requests) for some users accessing the forums.I can forward the original IP’s of the users via X-Forwarded.

Is it ok to use X-Forwarded to forward original IP’s ? If so do we need to make any changes on Discourse side to make it work ?
