I have something I’d like to add to this.
I recently sent a Moderator Warning PM to a user, who immediately went in and removed himself from the message. 
For warnings, shouldn’t this feature be turned off?

I moved your reply to a separate topic. I agree users shouldn’t be able to remove themselves from an Official Warning PM, that pretty much defeats the purpose.
(That said, you do know they saw it

Right but does it matter? They clearly saw it, staff can add them back in any time if they need to, etc?

In this case, yes, it mattered, I needed to know if he was doing something purposefully or if he really didn’t understand what he was doing wrong.
Turns out that even though I’d warned him several times, he hadn’t bothered to try to understand. Spent over an hour trying to teach him to use the “Edit” button. Still doesn’t understand.

古いトピックをぶつけて申し訳ありません。この問題について調べていました。警告されたユーザーが警告PMから自分自身を削除した場合、ユーザーが警告を確認したことを示していることに同意します。警告PMからユーザー自身を削除することを技術的に防止することは可能かもしれませんが、それはあまり頻繁に発生する問題ではないようですので、実装は優先事項ではないでしょう。
ただし、ユーザーが警告から自分自身を削除した場合、マイナーなUIの問題があります。スタッフがユーザーのプロフィールページで警告数を表示しても、警告リンクをクリックすると /u/<username>/messages/warnings に移動し、「メッセージがありません」というテキストが表示されます。
警告PMは存在しますが、ユーザーの warnings 受信トレイにはもうありません。UserWarning レコードはデータベースにまだ存在します。そのエントリには、警告されたユーザーの user_id と警告PMの topic_id が含まれています。これらのレコードを使用して、以前にユーザーに送信された警告にリンクすることが可能であると思われます。/u/<username>/messages/warnings にリンクするのではなく。
