Using Discourse as a comment system

Hi, I’ve read in another thread that there was a project developing a Discourse comments plugin. Since the thread was closed a few weeks ago I’m not sure what the status of the plugin is. Currently I’m using the FB comments plugin on my site and Discourse as the forum and I want to merge both. Many thanks, Torsten

Embed Discourse comments on another website via Javascript

Discourse has the ability to embed the comments from a topic in a remote site using a Javascript API that creates an IFRAME. For an example of this in action, check out Coding Horror’s blog. There is also WP Discourse – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org which appears to be more like linking the two sites together.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I think this will be a good solution for us. We want to use our blog for content and SEO, but our main avenue of community participation is Discourse.
