Is it possible to use google drive to store images uploaded to discourse?
Does Google let you serve files directly yet? Aren’t they still always wrapped in the web UI?
Not sure. I’ve always used google drive from a desktop.
I’ve been told folders from a google drive can be shared between two clients.
It’s probable the google drive could be mounted into a unix tree … that would get around needing private access to read write - as far as discourse would be concerned it would local storage.
I’ll have a play with https://github.com/odeke-em/drive#drive-server and see how it goes.
Yes it possible
No direct link
But there’s redirect link
And embed video

I think it must save as image:driveID and video: driveID
And render it itu img and IFrame
The folder to upload must be shared public
