we have designed our own badges for our Discourse-based discussion board, but giving the Google drive link to the .png link to the image isn’t doing the trick - the image won’t show.
It is not working with a Github link to the file, either, either. I looked around in here and on the Web but couldn’t find much - can you help?

Google Drive doesn’t give you a direct link to the image when you share it. They only provide a link to their viewer. So, you can’t hotlink to the images while they’re on Google Drive.
You can download the images and upload them to your Discourse site either in a personal message or in a staff-only or unlisted topic. You will then be able to use those URLs for badge images, and they should work.
