Using templates when quoting

I wonder if it’s possible to use this plugin when quoting and posting a new topic.

The use case is moving support reports to their respective categories.

Currently, there is no way to quote and make a new topic because the template uses the whole textarea

You say plugin but used the form-templates tag. Are you talking about the templates plugin or form templates?
