What is the difference between "entered" and "read"?

On the users page, what’s the difference between a user “entering” a topic vs “reading” a topic? Is there some count of how long a user is viewing a post? [image]

It appears the columns (although not very well named or described) refer to the activity of the user. Is there a way to see how many times the user’s topics/posts have been viewed/read by other users? And wouldn’t that be useful columns in the table of users too?

The Discourse Data Explorer Plugin will help here, you can write your own query for this or maybe someone else already posted one on (Superseded) What cool data explorer queries have you come up with?
