Maybe I’m not in one of the Experimental content localization allowed groups and the icon is just visible for some reason.
Though saying that, enabling experimental_content_localization on my test site has not popped the icon in my post menu. I may need to wait for more detailed instructions.
Edit:
Ahhh, I had to add the addTranslation option to my post menu setting myself. Now it shows up and I can click on it and see the options.
We embarked upon a pioneering initiative designed to enable the localization of all dynamic elements within Discourse — such as posts, topic titles, category names, and tags. This advancement will empower websites to present their content in a multitude of languages, with each site owner determining the array of supported languages.
Furthermore, we will incorporate an option to generate automatic translations through artificial intelligence. Once completed, this feature will facilitate the existence of a multilingual forum environment, allowing users to engage seamlessly within a single discussion, each communicating in their preferred language.
