Why do some pages on my website show "Revision" and others do not?

Why do some pages on my website show “Revision” and others do not? Is it because of something I have set up in the admin panel?

I noticed this myself, but am I correct in my understanding that “Revision” will not show up if nothing is changed?

Correct. If the page hadn’t been changed from the original is not considered to be revised.
