my server host allow me to upgrade my server to a higher plan, ip won’t be changed, just more resources allocated, won’t have any effect right? silly question (?) I know I just want to make sure, obviously I just do a rebuild after.

Changes to the server your forum runs on should not result in changes to your forum’s data.
