The mute tag fucntion works normally elsewhere but not in the Hot sorting.

If this is still the case, then maybe someone can move this topic to bug ?

I think I can repro this on my test site:
- Go to
/hot - Select topic and add tag
- Ensure topic notification level is ‘normal’
- Go to tag and mute
- Return to topic list
Expected: Topic should no longer be visible
Actual: Topic remains visible in list

Just in case, there is a setting remove muted tags from latest that would affect the behavior on Latest so maybe it might affect Hot as well?
it doesn’t, I have the setting enabled.
