The chat plugin should allow users to manually arrange channels while also offering automatic sorting options, such as alphabetical order or creation date, etc.
Providing automatic sorting is useful, but manual control is essential. Just because someone initially creates channels in alphabetical order (starting with A, then B, then C) doesn’t mean they won’t later want to add a new channel that starts with B, for example.
For my particular case, it just makes sense that certain channels are grouped by subject, nothing else, so it would be a manual sorting.
