We looked into this when we were first prototyping the new about page, and I was specifically thinking about the German concept of “Impressum”. An idea I had proposed was that the “Contact us” section would contain seeded copy, but could be customized directly on the “About this site” admin page. So sites that need, it could provide for example, full contact details for the person or company responsible, including full name, mailing address, etc.
