Yes, that should work.
The “help answer similar questions” PM uses Discourse’s standard suggested-topics logic for the topic where the solution was accepted. So if “Limit suggested to category” is enabled, the suggested topics in that PM should be limited to the same category as the original solved topic.
So in your example, a solution in Product A should only suggest other topics from Product A’s category, not Product B.
