Quote Bubble in Reply Header Menu Option

Have a community user ask about the “quote bubble” disappearing from the reply.

I’ve searched the admin menu, and see a few options related to suppression of quoted text.

Is there an admin configuration I am missing to bring the quote text back to the top of the reply menu?

I’m running 3.5.0-beta1-dev.

At the moment, there is no configuration option to bring it back. But you can share your users’ use cases in

Appreciate the insight.

For what its worth, I used the quote bubble personally on my instance likely more than any of the other top level options by a wide margin.

I don’t think I have ever used bold, italics, link, blockquote, or calendar.

Use the gear to build polls.

I’d love it if, like so many other things in discourse, what can be displayed in the top was configurable.
