Ability to have more than 100 users in a group chat

Hi,

I see there is a limit of 0 to 100 users in a Chat Group. Will there be an update to allow more?

I don’t know, maybe it is me but if you have over 100 user in a chat… is it still a chat? Could you explain your use case just so I can understand?

I imagine that like a slack channel with my ambassadors. maybe a Channel is better as I have a category with all my ambassadors ? Is there a 100 people limit also with channels ?

Yes, a channel would be better for this, rather than a group direct message.

You can have more than 100 people in a regular channel.

So basically, similar to how Discord works, right?
You are saying that there’s no limit to how many people can join a channel and interact with it?

Thank you! So I’ve created my channel “Ambassadors” as I have a category exclusively dedicated to my Ambassadors. I have 94 Ambassadors (all in a Group that can access to my category). Do you know why in my channel I only have 64 members?

The rest 30 hasn’t visited yet in your forum, I would guess.

What do your mean by “visiting” as they at least configured their account on the forum o_O

They don’t trigger joining before they log in. I guess if you check out one of those you find that one hasn’t visited after you made that chat channel.

They may not have joined the chat channel yet.
