Easily Track/Watch Topics on Mobile?

Hey there!

Is it possible to track/watch/mute topics on mobile without having to scroll to the bottom of the topic?

I’ve tried to find a workaround for this one for a while and can’t find anything

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Mhh… I thought I knew the answer but apparently I don’t… I could have sworn that the topic tracking used to be a button here on mobile but it doesn’t ^[1] seem to be the case.

Edit: I’m not going mad. This topic shows that mobile did used to have such a feature.

Edit 2: I have been informed that this feature was removed.

Cannot change watching status on mobile while in the middle of topic

Thanks for your patience while we were looking into this — we made an intentional change to the topic timeline on mobile to save space and reduce visual overwhelm that can negatively impact navigation and the user experience as a whole. We won’t be reverting that change at this time. Our suggested workaround is to use the Mark unread button to return the topic to unread status, if you need to make sure it stays unread after changing the notification level.
