Chat interface not displaying or behaving correctly

Symptome:

  • Der Chat-Bereich friert nicht ein, erscheint aber beschädigt oder falsch ausgerichtet.
  • Es ist schwierig, Nachrichten richtig zu lesen oder mit ihnen zu interagieren.

Wir sind neugierig: Hat jemand anderes diese Probleme in letzter Zeit gesehen?

Ja, das tue ich. Es scheint, dass hier alles automatisch übersetzt wird – ich weiß nicht, ob ich auf Englisch antworten muss :thinking::thinking:.

Ich weiß nicht, ob es auch automatisch übersetzt wird, wenn ich deutsch schreibe :thinking:. Bin irritiert :sweat_smile::see_no_evil_monkey:

Es passiert auch ohne Chat bubbles! Habe es ausprobiert.

Allerdings nur im Safari. Im Google Browser auf dem iPhone nicht.

Da ich aber die pwa nutze ist es lästig.

It happens even without chat bubbles! I tested it.

But only in Safari. It doesn’t happen in the Google browser on the iPhone.

However, since I use the PWA, it’s annoying.

If you change your language settings under your settings > preferences > interface, the posts will be be translated automatically to the language selected (e.g. German)

Anyway, you may want to post this issue on the dedicated topic, since the problem may be caused with this TC.

I try to do so from time to time yes, but it’s never been a Discourse-official.

I don’t see anything wrong with that screenshot to be honest. Can you explain what you mean by misalignment? And a screenshot what it looks like without chat bubbles might be helpful too, since you say it isn’t component related.

Vielleicht sieht man es im direkten Vergleich. Wenn es so verrutscht kommt man auch nicht mehr zurück zu der Übersicht der Kanäle. Ich muss dann erst auf die Hauptseite des Forums.

Oh wow totally overlooked that. @sam I’m going to remove the chat-bubbles tag here as it’s not related, seems like some keyboard insert issue maybe? Or some other vertical content shift.

@Aurora Can you share what device you are using, and if you’re on the latest Discourse version? Can you also make sure to try it with the default theme, without any components enabled to see if the issue persist?

es sieht ohne chat bubbles genauso aus und passiert bei mir am iPhone in Safari.

Allerdings muss ich sagen - wir haben gestern ein Discourse update gemacht und tatsächlich tritt das Problem heute nicht mehr auf! Es scheint sich gelöst zu haben.
