Setting Home Page Views

My support page’s current home page view looks like this.

However, I would like it to look like this.

I’m truggling to find the relevant settings to make this happen, hence asking for help here.

Those are two different pages . The former is the /latest, while the latter is /categories.

Can I default the home page to show /categories rather than /latest?

You can set this under your user preferences > Interface > Default Home Page.

How to set the default view for new users

You can do that by re-running the set-up wizard if you want a preview of what options are available ([YourSite]/wizard). The Homepage one is on the /wizard/steps/styling step. Or you can reorder the pages by using the top menu admin setting: [top menu] And put the one you want as the homepage as the first one, and add any others after in the order you want.
