Direct chat page access via chat bubble

When we click on the chat bubble it opens up channel but instead can we do something that it will directly open the chat page instead of channel?

Is the chat preferred index setting what you are looking for?
You can change it from ‘channels’ to ‘direct_messages’:

This opens up the chat in the DMs tab instead of the Channels tab.
