Just as a very general feedback, I’d imagine that if you mainly operate in China and you don’t need multi-language support, you will have an easier time using Discuz.
With respect to being outdated, I see you’re using X3.5 and their new platform is X5. All the information is in Chinese, but it seems that’s a full framework rebuild?
Depending on what you want to do, an important difference between Discuz and Discourse could be in licensing. Discourse is open-source licensed with GPL-2.0. I’d be curious to understand the licensing model behind Discuz better. It seems it’s only source-available? I couldn’t locate a stated license text, but translated there’s this section on both https://gitee.com/Discuz/DiscuzX (X3.5) and https://gitee.com/Discuz/DiscuzX/tree/MitFrame/ (X5):
