It’s very confusing to receive a notification for a new announcement that is actually about changes that happened two years ago.

(It was more obvious when you moved the welcome topic)

맞아요! 죄송합니다. 당시 Contribute > Feature 카테고리에 잘못 게시했던 것을 바로잡고 싶었습니다. 불행히도 이로 인해 오래된 뉴스에 대해 모두에게 알림이 갔네요!

오늘 고객에게 법적 관리 설정을 도와주다가 이 내용을 다시 확인하게 되었습니다. 해당 공지사항에 포함된 관련 안내 사항은 여전히 정확합니다.

I just expected something new because there was a new announcement. Would I still be notified if you enabled Disable category edit notifications before changing the category? I think that was used when the documentation structure was changed last year.

I don’t have personal experience with that but can try it next time!

Also I could have used the bulk action to change the category, which has a nifty “perform this action silently” option. Presumably that would prevent the notification from firing?
