You mean the edit button below the post that was flagged, is that correct? So far you only shared a screenshot of the personal message which told the user that they can edit the post. You didn’t share the post menu of the flagged post. You also didn’t anwser whether you have changed any settings related to edit permissions.
I tired to reproduce what happened:
- I created a post with my test user
- My admin user flagged it using the hide post option
- The test user received a PM just like the one you shared in the first post
- After waiting for 10 minutes the test user clicked the link to the flagged post.
I see the option to edit there in the post menu.
That’s why I think you may have changed a setting related to post editing.
