Hi all, I’m in the midst of making a new component, which is an inline editing of a post. Instead of opening the composer, it opens a DEditor in the post itself.
I would be really grateful if anyone would like to try this component out and come back with any feedback or bugs encountered.
Current settings:
show_preview: Show preview for the Markdown editor.manually_set_composer_height: Whether to set the composer height in the next setting, or else it will use the user’s core composer height.composer_height: The manually-set composer height.
Known issues:
- Appearing of draft conflict popups when typing/clicking ‘Save draft’
- May open core composer instead of the inline composer when entering a topic with a pre-existing draft [Related: See Trying to reply to a topic with an exisiting edit draft opens the composer with the edit draft as a reply instead & FEATURE: multiple post drafts per topic - Pull Request #43719 - discourse/discourse - GitHub]
