I notice that footnoting does not allow the use of much common markdown syntax within the footnote brackets^[Ex: This is within a footnote bracket, but the layout breaks whenever I introduce paragraphs, headers, lists, etc.

Not a huge deal, but it certainly limits the functionality of what you can put in the footnote!
