Hello

This theme component is to be used with Discourse Footnote plugin and it’s add an Insert Footnote button to composer.

There are a few settings:

By default:

• it uses superscript icon what you can change with composer footnote button icon setting.

• it shows on popup options menu in composer uncheck the put in popup menu setting to show it on toolbar section.

If you uncheck the put in popup menu setting than you can select from 3 groups to where you want to place this button on toolbar.

Clicking on the footnote button will insert the code. This text you can change with composer footnote button text translation.

It isn’t super clear that this component only provides the button and not the functionality of the footnote plugin (the only real clue is the tag on the topic).

Why isn’t this functionality rolled into the official plugin anyway? It would be a very useful addition!

Hmm… I checked this and I didn’t get this error. I think it is probably depends on the other components. I will try to figure out and maybe modify it with the api.
