Yesterday, I opened the link https://meta.discourse.org from an old message of mine on Instagram, and when I tried to log in, I couldn’t. The only solution was to open the browser and log in the usual way. Is there a solution to this problem? Attached is a screenshot.
Maybe check your Discourse user preferences settings for associated accounts to make sure you are setup properly. Discourse Meta - The Official Support Forum for Discourse
It was trying to open the link from within instagram, without leaving the app, and it forced you to switch to a proper web browser, right?
If that’s the case, I don’t think it has to do with associated accounts.
The error is disallowed useragent; here is Google page describing the error.
Essentially, Google is preventing this since third-party applications can track your activity or steal your authentication credentials when you open links in them.
To prevent this, open links from the full browser rather than within the app.
