Add a column to the topics list with the creation date

Hi, my list with topics shows the following columns.

Topic title , authors involved, Replies, Views and activity.

Could I get some clues on how to add a new column field with the topic creation date?

Have you managed to get this working somehow. At least on the “new” page this would be very helpful.
