I think the title is pretty clear. For instance, regulars often change the categories because they are miss placed by the original poster. Therefore, editing the category / tag / title by pressing the 
icon with reasoning would help new users get to know why their post was moved to another category, etc…

That’s for sure. It will defiantly help a lot the regulars, as they don’t have the ability to add edit reason when the post doesn’t belong to them.
