I was trying to add a new tag with special characters like “+” (plus) for adding a tag called “c++” but it does not let me to add it (rather it is showed as just “c”).
Is there a way to solve it?
That is not an allowed character in tags.

There’s no supported way to get unsupported characters into tags, no.
The only solution is to change your tags to use supported characters.
Мне бы очень хотелось тегировать по ценовому диапазону, например: $, $$, $$$ и $$$$. Я вижу, что эти символы не поддерживаются в тегах, но есть ли какой-то путь, включая кастомную разработку? Представляю, что многим форумам пригодились бы теги с символами $, если бы они были разрешены.
Возможно, стоит переключиться на cpp.
