I have a discourse install using the official method ssl is working fine, but I want to add another sub-domain with cert-bot.
The thing is it’s for n8n and it already has it’s own let’s encrypt creation code.
I’m a bit puzzled, would like to know how to do it…
Are you planning to install n8n on the same server? If so then you’ll need a reverse proxy and it will be responsible for certs for n8n and Discourse.
Maybe you want Use Nginx Proxy Manager to manage multiple sites with Discourse or Set up Discourse on a server with existing Apache sites
Yes that was the plan but I decided it might not be so smart after all, security wise… Anyway thanks for the tip, probably going to host more then one thing on the site so it’ll come in handy.
