Since a topic is also a post, the value 1 has no purpose in this field, and the value for which this option starts to be useful is 2.
Considering this, I feel that it would make more sense if it was replaced with “Minimum reply count”.
And of course, writing 1 in this field would search in reality for a minimum of 2 posts.
