Every time I try to turn on the “Discourse RSS Polling” plugin, I get this error message: “An error occurred: You are not allowed to change hidden settings: rss_polling_enabled”
I have all the admin privileges for our Discourse forum, so not sure why I’m seeing this error…
Hi, that’s weird because this setting for me is not hidden…
I think this setting may be hidden on hosted sites. I’m getting the same issue when I try and disable the plugin on a hosted site on the Business Plan:
If you’re also hosted by Discourse/CDCK then I think in this case you would need to contact team@discourse.org to enable/disable the plugin:
