I just spent about two hours writing a long personal message on a discourse forum. Then I must have accidentally pressed some key combination which gave me a message that said something like “do you also want to delete something something” and I was just “No, I don’t want to delete anything, what are you talking about?” and I hit the cancel button. I then found myself editing the PM that I was replying to (I still have admin rights on that forum, though I’m no longer an active admin), so i exited that edit mode too, since I obviously didn’t want toedit the message but reply to it. Or rather: continue replying to it.
But everything I had written was gone. Starting a new reply doesn’t bring up any draft, neither does reloading the page. Is there any other place I might be able to recover all that text?
