Any way to use names to bypass username restrictions without showing both?

Hoping to get a singular account to be able to use punctuation in its displayed name (the user’s name has an apostrophe in it). After some digging here, it looks like the best way to do this would be to display the account’s name (which has the apostrophe), not its username (which does not), which seems to be possible in our settings - however, I can’t find a way to turn off also displaying the username, because they don’t want it just repeated.

Is this possible?

Is there a better way to achieve this for a single account?

Hi :orange_circle: & :black_circle: :five: !

Just to be sure about what you want to achieve.

Do you want a specific user’s full name to be displayed first instead of the username on the forum?
Should their username be displayed as well (next to the full name)?

What are your site prioritize username in ux and enable names settings values?

If you can draw a quick mockup from a screenshot, that would be nice to understand better your request

I just ended up CSS hacking it, which feels like relevant information - by hiding the fields where users can put in their name, and hiding the username box shown on posts, I was able to achieve most of what I wanted.
