Brevo email is not sending email

I opted for Brevo email service . Installation went well , But I am not getting emails . I do not find where the error comes .

I run discourse-doctor , and it says " connection to port 587 failed !! Problem is server has outgoing SMTP traffic blocked, if you are using service like mailgun or sengrid try using port 2525"

SMTP Server :smtp-relay.brevo.com
Port: 587
username : Login (Brevo)
password: SMTP key value (Brevo)

Checked with Brevo Team , they checked sending emails from their side and showed me the logs of successful delivery of email .

That’s odd as I am also using Brevo and I encountered no errors at all. After I installed Discourse I was sent the activation email.

I don’t know how else to say it, but that suggests that you are unable to connect to port 587 because your VM is blocking outbound traffic to port 587. Did you try using port 2525? If not, why not? This is the next thing to try.

Have you used brevo with something other than Discourse?

I’d say contact your VPS provider / make sure your firewall doesnt block outgoing connections to port 587

If you switch to port 2525 you won’t have to contact or wait for your VPS provider.
