Can I change the owner of a post?

Our initial installation used local users, and some posts were created by “team generic accounts”, then we enabled sso and those accounts became invalid, having every employee his own personal account.

Those first posts can now only be edited by admins, and I’d like to make other people owner so they can edit them without being admins themselves.

I couldn’t do it via the gui, so I guess the only way is directly in the database, can anybody guide me through that?

You should be able to in the gui; I just did.

Go to the post, click the wrench, click select posts, select the post you want to change the author by choosing "change ownership"and following the prompts.

Awesome! I had been trying from the wrench in the post itself.

That worked, thanks!

We need to add this function (duplicate the function) in the post menu as well can you make sure that’s on your list @techapj?
