Chat and Poll options not working in Firefox and Firefox-related browsers

Hi

Hope this is the right place to ask.

We seem to suddenly be experiencing two issues seemingly linked to Firefox or Firefox-related browsers.

  1. The entire chat function has disappeared for users. The speech bubble icon has disappeared and if users are tagged in chat a blank space appears in the notification list. The list of chats and DMs has also disappeared from the left hand menu (under the different forum sections).

  2. Users are unable to vote in polls. The options are displayed but the check box next to them is non-existent or just a ‘dot’.

I use chat and pools via Firefox every day, so they are working fine on our latest version.

This sounds like an issue on a specific install, can you share a link to the site with this issue?

And it only occurred sometime between 14:00 and 17:00 GMT. Multiple users are reporting the same issues on Firefox.

It is about the same forum.
Have you tried to reproduce on try.discourse.org?

That is the same forum yes.

Chat is showing there and I was able to post a poll that worked.
