Is there a plan/standard roadmap for the chat plugin to fully merge into core from its current “included by default” plugin folder?

Why am I asking this? Because I’d like to create front-end tests that assume chat from within the scope of another plugin … and I don’t think that’s possible yet? e.g. running qunit for just the plugin in isolation?

Sorry Robert, We don’t have plans for this in the mid term. Im not sure what you are trying to do with qunit, but you could certainly achieve this with system specs.
