Il plugin di chat non gestisce correttamente il carattere di escape del backlash

I don’t know if this is by design or not but for some reason using backlash as a escape character on chat doesn’t work

here’s an example:

right here I can do:

*highlight* 
\*highlight\*

which gives me:

highlight
*highlight*

but when I try the same thing in a chat room this is what happens:

If this is by design what’s the correct escape character sequence and why isn’t it just backlash?

Indeed we never added the escape rule to chat. That should fix it:

FIX: supports escape sequence in chat
