Content of "A post was split to a new topic:" post is not updated when new topic title is subsequently changed

When post are split off into a new topic there is a mini post:

A post was split to a new topic: Topic B

If “Topic B” is later renamed to “Topic C” then the message above doesn’t change to reflect that. Is there any way to update these posts automatically?
