Custom banner or Some component (Help Needed)

Hi, I know there’s lot of topics around featured banner but i need this specific layout on my discourse site as used by
python community(https://discuss.python.org/)
openai community (link)

and many mores…

tried :- versatile banner, welcome-banner and others mentioned by community but no luck…

please suggest, how to create that dissmisible banner layout with vertical scrolling?. is that any theme component i’m missing or plugin or some custom codes?

Did you try the pin option which Discourse offers by default? I think that’s what you are looking for

Dismissible banner

A dismissible banner is a temporary notice that users can close. Here’s how to create one:

1. Create or navigate to a topic in any category (public or private). The original post (OP) at the top of the topic will be the source of your banner.
2. Open the admin options by clicking the wrench icon to the right or at the bottom of the topic.
3. Select “Pin Topic…”
4. In the new window, choose Make Banner Topic

The banner will now appear at the top of your site. Users will see a dismissible banner. Staff will also see a link to edit the source topic.

Ah! thanks … i get it , like the way those sites have put minimal information i thought its some kind of banner component.
