Customising colours - admin/ customize/ colours

Does anyone have a directory that deciphers what all of the colour elements do - from this list? Tx a million.

I trust you’ve read the descriptions?

Hi Rober, yest I did - and I played with some of them, but they aren’t having the desired effect. Plus the headings on my posts are showing up as dark grey.

thanks for writing! Bron

And you’ve applied the amended colour scheme to your active theme? Also made sure you refresh your browser.

Yes done all that. Just haven’t tried changing all of them to find eg the one driving the header text in posts. Since as you know better than me, these individual colour changes can have unintended consequences that you might now spot. No worries I’ll wait for Communiteq to be available as they know the site well. Thanks again for your Robert. Glad I had actually tried the basics. Bron

make sure the color scheme is selectable for users.

also go to your preferences and set the color scheme you are testing in you interface tab - make sure it’s not being overridden by dark mode (and be sure to save your changes by clicking the button at the bottom).

now you can easily look at your color scheme in one browser window and preview it in another, simply by changing the colors in the scheme, clicking the save button at the top, then refreshing the forum view.
