In past software experience, few people told them that a progress bar could also be a button. In terms of design, the flat design makes it more difficult for people to know which things can be clicked, and can only rely on experience.
It might be a great help if the discourse new user tip can specifically indicate that the progress bar on mobile can be clicked.
