Hey all!
We are looking to move conversations around, delete old topics, etc. I am sure for those who have their notifications on, this will end up being quite noisy. Is there a good resource I can refer to that has instructions on how to walk these members through disabling these notifications?

I don’t think we have a specific resource, but if you provide the links /my/preferences/notifications and /my/preferences/emails (e.g., meta.discourse.org/my/preferences/notifications) it will bring them directly to the relevant preference pages.
You can toggle both disable category edit notifications and disable tags edit notifications to make things less noisy. 
This will also affect publishing shared drafts or moving things from #staff or PM into a public category, so you might want to remember to turn them back on again once you’ve finished the tidy up.
