Disable the "listing of new topics in a category" interstitial for users with unread topics

When a new topic is added to a category and a user clicks on that category they are presented with an interstitial that hides all the other topics in a category, only showing the new topics until they either read the topics or click a Dismiss New

For example if a user clicks on the category “Events,” if the user has unread topics in that category discourse redirects the user to something like:

mydiscoursesite.org/c/events/4/l/new

I’d like to not have the user be redirected to /l/new and have them go to the default view of the category showing all topics, including new ones.

Is there a setting for this? I looked for a setting and searched here and was unable to identify an option.

In the sidebar?
Then I guess you are looking for default sidebar link to filtered list. Users can also change that individually in their preferences at {yourDiscourseSite}/my/preferences/navigation-menu

Thank you, that was exactly the setting I needed to revert!
