"Use your Discourse ID account to log in to Discourse " @rishabh I feel the 2nd ‘Discourse’ should be replaced with my forum name, in this case ‘FAKTout’, as users would be trying to log into my forum not Discourse. Though the underlying URL is correctly pointed to my forum. [image]

Ah ok try this, it worked for mine: SSH in and get to the Rails console: cd /var/discourse ./launcher enter app rails c Clear the two hidden credentials: SiteSetting.discourse_id_client_id = "" SiteSetting.discourse_id_client_secret = "" exit In Admin → Settings → Login, toggle Enable Discourse ID off, then on. Ah maybe I read it too hasty, thanks. I see the same thing on other forums though, hence I thought it was the regular way. Let me investigate more

[imagen] Moin: I wonder if it takes a while for Discourse-ID to update the name. Same, it could be that the meta data has been pushed before the title was changed. Can you update the title to something else, save, and change it back to what you want? It could be that resaving the setting will trigger a resync.

It didn’t help. I changed Admin → All Site Settings → title. Does it pick the site name from this field?

I think it does but this is not my area. Other colleagues are looking into it too

This feels more like a workaround than a fix. How does this work for all the forums on the free plan and all other hosted sites using Discourse ID?

Since you said it worked, I expected that. But it doesn’t answer my question about the process for forums hosted by Discourse. Needing their support whenever you update the name or logo doesn’t feel like a solution.

[imagen] Moin: all other hosted sites using Discourse ID On our hosted sites, this re-registration is handled automatically I believe, if I read this correctly: (big if) [imagen]Can't regenerate Discourse ID credentials after changing domain name [imagen]Can't regenerate Discourse ID credentials after changing domain name My feeling is that Discourse ID should auto correct itself in some way. Or at least there should be a way to refresh Discourse ID via the admin UI. In our hosting, this is handled automatically. In self-hosted sites, it’s running into the issue you described.

En nuestros sitios alojados, creo que este proceso de re-registro se maneja automáticamente, si lo he entendido bien: (gran si)
