I would like to know if it’s possible to either use WordPress and Discourse for registrations. In other words, I do like to synchronize user accounts from WP to Discourse and Discourse to WP. Will that be possible when I set both Discourse and WP as providers?
I think you can achieve this by using wordpress as your oAuth provider(same as google login) rather than using wordpress SSO.
So the users can sign-up using either wordpress account or normal sign-up.
I’m not sure if your question is esoteric or you just haven’t read WP Discourse plugin installation and setup. If what you want is a single login for your WordPress and discourse sites, that’s easy .
